UU is a serial number prefix - not a date code. If there is no date code, it's not a German Sig. Sig Sauer Serial Lookup. Appreciated very much. They can tell you the manufacture date. At least I assume they can give the date for a German made gun. Without paying for it, they're likely to only be able to tell you a range of years, as they did with mine, but it was incorrect.
